Vocation discernment is meant to accompany those considering a vocation to the religious life, in particular to the Augustinian way of life in decision-making. If you have thought of becoming a religious brother or priest, perhaps the following stages in vocational discernment are meant for you.
1. Initial Inquiry
A communication between you and an Augustinian that provides opportunity foryou to find out more about the Augustinian way of life.
2. Journeying Program
A formal accompaniment in vocation discernment that helps you prayerfully reflect on your response to God’s special call for you. With the guidance of an Augustinian, you will prayerfully explore religious life and the Augustinian charism and spirituality. There will also be opportunities for you to visit an Augustinian community for prayer, meals and conversations.
3. Come and See Program
A live-in community experience in an Augustinian community for a period of time that gives you another opportunity to know more the Augustinian way of life.
