The implementation of the College’s 2011 – 2015 Master Plan continues apace, and construction of the next building will happen later this year.
Issues of the College Newsletter for 2014 reported the following items, amongst many others:
St Augustine’s College First IV rowing team won the Sydney University Cup for the best schoolboy rowing IV at the prestigious Riverview Gold Cup on Saturday. This is only the second win in thirty years by a non-GPS school.
As part of the College’s Social Justice Program students travelled to Cambodia and India in December 2013; they were formally welcomed back to the College during the first Assembly of 2014.

A total of hundred students from St Augustine’s and Stella Maris Colleges participated in the staging of a musical Thoroughly Modern Millie in the Stella Maris Theatre in recent weeks (February – March 2014). The student orchestra backed the singing and dancing on stage.
Stella Maris is a girls’ college in nearby Manly, under the aegis of the Sisters of the Good Samaritan. In recent years a number of combined musicals with St Augustine’s College have been presented, including Guys and Dolls, and Oliver. This practice happened in the 1980s, and has been revived a number of times.
Also welcomed were six Irish students from Glenstal Abbey School at Murroe in Limerick, Ireland, who will spend a month at the College as part of an exchange program. They will be billeted with the families of students from St Augustine’s College who visited Glenstal Abbey in 2013. St Augustine’s College operates a similar exchange from with St Rita’s College, an Augustinian secondary day school in Chicago, Illinois, U.S.A.

Thursday, 10th April 2014 will bring the first of two twilight concerts that are held annually. These low-key outdoors concerts provide a chance for the bands and ensembles of the College to perform to a home audience before the public eisteddfods soon afterwards. The concerts go from 5.00 pm to 7.00 pm.
