After over thirty years of ministry and residence in Holy Spirit Parish at St Clair, the Sisters of Mercy are now departing the parish. The parish community will celebrate the Sisters’ decades of ministry in a farewell Mass for them at 9.30 am on Sunday, 9th February.
The Augustinian priests at Holy Spirit Parish share emergency duties at Mt Druitt and Nepean Hospitals. Currently, they are on call for night and weekend emergencies at Mt Druitt every fourth week and at other times when the chaplain on duty cannot be contacted. They are also on a rotating roster for two weeks at a time for all out of hours and weekend emergency calls at Nepean Public Hospital. Holy Spirit shares these duties with priests rostered from five other parishes.
