One of the initiatives decided at a Youth Homelessness Conference conducted by Villanova on 26 July 2014 came to fruition as had been planned on 12 October.
On Sunday, 12 October 2014 Villanova Year Twelve students and their mothers worked side by side to create one thousand care packs for distribution to homeless youth on the streets of Brisbane. The necessary contents such as non-perishable energy foods and various toiletries were donated by Villanova families and students in the weeks since Villanova’s Youth Homelessness Conference last July.
